FIELD

The field is a large 4.5 acre field with 18,000 square meters of space to explore.

The field has a shelter for those rainy days (or very sunny days!) along with a picnic bench.

Please do remember when sheltering that you still have a duty to pick up after your dog.

If choosing to access the field by car, please let the person before you leave first.  Unlatch the gate, drive through the large gate into the field. Please do not drive around the grass field and please make sure you shut the gate behind you, secure the latch, before you let your dog/s out of your car.

On leaving reverse out into the car park area, close the gate and secure it shut again.

Or use the smaller gate, keeping your dog/s on their lead until you are in the field. Upon leaving do the same.

Remember to stay in your vehicle and or away from the entrances to the field until the previous user has got their dog/s back out of the field and are a safe distance away so as not to upset yours or their dog. Your booking includes the time it takes you to get into and out of the field.

Please remember to bring poo bags and pick up after your dog, so the next user can enjoy the field. We would ask that you do not leave litter in the fields. Please remember to bring water for your dogs.

There are bins located in the field for you to dispose of your poo bags and any other litter.

FIELD RULES

•      You must only use the field if you have booked a time slot.

•      Please wait in your car or well away from the entrance if you are on foot so the previous booking can leave the field.

â—¦      We ask you to do this so that the dogs using the field can exit safely, especially important if they are scared or reactive.

•      Please ensure you leave the field promptly so the next member can have access.  Your timeslot does include getting your dog(s) back into your vehicle/away from the field to prevent interference with the next user. Do not drive into the field until the previous user is clear of the gate. Please remember to bring poo bags and pick up after your dog/s.

•      Dogs must be kept on a lead until safely in the secure field.

•      You must pick up after your dog, a bin is provided to dispose of poo bags and do not leave any litter.

•      You may amend your booking up to 3 hrs before your time.  You will not be issued with a refund, but you can book another slot to suit you.

Are XL Bullies allowed on the fields?

We are pleased to say that our fields can still be used by XL Bullies, as long as the government rules are adhered to.

Click here to read the latest government rules.

Our fields are private land and the use of the fields are for the users exclusive use, however the car park is a shared space so muzzles and leads must be used in the car park. We would advise using the in-field parking area.

*The dog must be muzzled at all times until inside the field during a booked appointment, with the gate closed and secured. There must be a 1:1 handler to dog ratio. If you have more than one dog, even if not exempt there must be another handler. When these are true, the dog can run free without a muzzle.

With regards to biosecurity the risks of using the field are the same as going for any other normal dog walk.  We cannot guarantee that all dogs exercised in the field have been vaccinated.  Equally the same applies for natural issues such as ticks and grass seeds.  The risk of ticks is very low as the field has been freshly seeded in 2024 however there is still a low risk.
